ProEnglish Theatre is an English-speaking theatre based in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Its mission is making up-to-date and quality theatre events for multi-cultural Ukrainian society. In February 2022, due to the war, transformed its premises into a bomb shelter for artists and locals.
Through art and theatre practices ProEnglish Theatre also aims to contribute into a space of support for all those who have experienced or are still experiencing violence.
About Bloom in Violence show:
“How can you create a play about a traumatic experience and make it playful, clever, sexy, funny, empowering, soothing, relatable and so immensely kind?”
The performance is a 2-actresses show that discovers the way to escape the circle of violence and underline the uplifting feeling of freedom that every person possesses.
In the performance there are extracts from the novel Daughter by Tamara Duda and the personal testimonies

Relief Acting Workshop
RAW is a 3-hours training. Its creator is Alina Zievakova, film and theatre actress, acting coach at ProEnglish Drama School. Alina came up with the idea in may 2022 as a response to people’s need for a creative space of relief and support. During the workshops Alina leads people through a series of physical and imagination exercises aimed to restore the contact of the body with the thoughts and create the atmosphere of common creation and presence.

Wild Acting Workshop
WILD is a 3-hours training aimed to open up the suppressed artistic potential of any actor and non-actor, bring up the sensation of uniqueness of self expression and work on stage fears. It combines basic acting techniques and tribal practices. WILD is conducted by Anabell Ramires, actress and director of ProEnglish Theatre, acting coach at ProEnglish Drama School.
